Transpiration is a key part of the water cycle. It is the process by which water is absorbed through the root of the plant, transferred to the leaves and evaporate through tiny pores called stomata into the atmosphere. This activity covers the water cycle, as well as parts of a plant and is suitable for grades K-12.
